Fees
All application fees and yearly fees support the administrative and technical procedures of the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP). Lab evaluation hourly rates and fees are not included in NTEP fees. These are separate fees and will be assessed by the assigned lab.
Application Fees (non-refundable)
All application fees are due at the time the application is submitted to NCWM. This fee is non-refundable. Processing of an application will not begin until this fee is received.
NCWM Member Rate: $800.00*
Non-Member Rate: $1,200.00*
*Excludes Non-Technical Editorial Change, Private Label, Reactivation and Sale of Company Applications. See individual application for pricing.
Certificate Processing Fees
Certificate processing fees are due at the time the application is submitted to NCWM. This fee is refundable if device fails lab evaluation or the application request is closed. Processing of application will not begin until this fee is received.
NCWM Member Rate: $150.00
Non-Member Rate: $225.00
Drafting Fees
This charge is in addition to the application fee and certificate processing fee if drafting is provided by NCWM staff.

Maintenance Fees
The NCWM charges an annual maintenance fee for all active Certificates of Conformance. By paying the maintenance fee, the manufacturer declares intent to continue manufacturing the device and agrees to the terms and conditions for renewal of the National Type Evaluation Program Certificates of Conformance. Maintenance fees will be invoiced each year on October 1.
