NCWM Task Group on Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges
This task group reports to the National Conference on Weights and Measures Laws and Regulations Committee. Its charge is to study options for a uniform method of sale for printer ink and toner cartridges that would provide consumers with adequate information to perform price and quantity comparisons while also giving the regulatory official the ability to verify the accuracy of the quantity declarations. The task group will develop proposals for the agenda of the Laws and Regulations Committee to amend NIST Handbook 130 based on their study of the issues involved.
